Program Overview

Writing the stories that have shaped us and the stories we have shaped

Storytelling is an innate human impulse. We use story to make sense of the world and understand ourselves. Stories shared safely help us confront fears and re-narrativize our understanding of our own life history.

Embodied leadership involves facing all parts of ourselves and learning to lead from a place of authenticity rather than reactivity. This process is closely tied to the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, our place in the world, and how the world responds to us.

In this course, you will surprise yourself as you access memories, connections, and stories that live within you — shaping your identity, influencing your leadership, and transforming how you see the world.

Writing heals and emboldens us. It hands us breakthroughs and softens the myths and blocks that hold us back in our leadership and life. With carefully structured prompts and writing exercises, we will explore foundational stories from our own lives in a new light, gaining insights into our experiences and transforming ourselves through changing our stories.

    Testimonials

In the Ochre Sky workshops and the writing circle, I discovered purpose in my own forgotten stories. I learned that my authentic voice is my craft. And I started to build a rich inner life with the remarkable cohort of writers who wrote, cried, and laughed together. The Ochre Sky workshop is one of the most nurturing spaces I have experienced. Here, every writer is witnessed and celebrated

    Manisha Gupta

    Director

This workshop has woken me up into another consciousness. That Pooja can be this way also. It also surprises me how seamlessly this writing has fit into my already crazy full life. There seems to be an inevitability to this which I should be brave enough to explore.

    Pooja Chandra

    Design

I am absolutely in awe of the sacred space that Ochre Sky magically, organically becomes. The weight we carry for so long automatically sheds in the company of gentle, trusting, honest, vulnerable, brave tribe of friends. I’ve

never had this range of friendship where I don’t need to know “what we do”, it’s enough we write our truths and we bloody write so well!
